MLM Local Helps You Advertise Your Network Marketing Business!

We’ll be launching soon. Let us know if you have questions.

Just a quick update for beta-testers.

We are back from Las Vegas, and are fully back to work at getting MLM Local launched.

There are still a few bugs we need to work out and we want to change a little of the functionality of the site before we launch it to the public.

In the meantime, if you have any questions about the site and how it works, or if you want to call to our attention anything you see not working correctly, please use the support desk here.

http://www.mlmlocal.com/support

We just wanted to let you all know that we’re back to work getting everything ready.

Also, the few of you who were showing up as free users have now been upgraded to Elite.

If your “pin” on the map was red and you couldn’t enter your IDs and URLs for the different social networks we support, and your personal website URL, you can now.

All you have to do is login using your email address and your selected password and you’ll be good to go.

How it works is pretty simple. If you use Twitter, for instance, just enter your Twitter username in that box, and click update.

Then, next to any of the networks you DO NOT use, click the word “hide” that is out to the right of that box in your profile, and once again — click update when you are done.

This is what tells the site which icons to show on your listing and which ones to not show. So you want to make sure it’s showing the networks that you use, and that you have your IDs/URLs for those entered — and that you’re “hiding” the icons for the sites you don’t use.

Make sense?

If you have questions, please contact us at the support desk (the link above).

Thanks,

Bram

Known tech issues for mlmlocal.com

First off, we want to thank EVERY single beta tester for helping us so much the last couple days of our launch.

Many of you have provided us with FANTASTIC feedback, and we can honestly say that you guys and girls are helping us so much to turn this system into a HUGE success.

We have so many things planned for you … just wait and see.

But right now, we do have a few technical issues on the site (as expected with any ‘beta’ version).

1. We are aware of the Signup Form issue. Many users are having problems not seeing the bottom of the form, and if you have already signed up, then this does not pertain to you.

However, if you haven’t signed up yet because the sign up form was missing a “Submit” button, then you can just use the “TAB” button on your keyboard after you fill out each field of the form, and this will scroll the form down until you get to the bottom.

This issue will be fixed soon, but if you haven’t signed up and want to get in now, this will work for you.

2. We have had some people get upset that their opportunities were not listed in the drop down box.
If you think that your opportunity should be considered, please submit a ticket at our Support Desk.

Remember though; mlmlocal is for network marketing companies only. We will not accept any cash gifting programs, HYIPs or other business opportunities that are not network marketing companies.

3. We are also aware of the lack of international address support. Our programmers are working on this feature and we should have international address support soon. Some countries are already supported, but we are having problems with others.

If your address is not being recognized, just be sure to submit a ticket and let us know.

Those are the 3 main issues on the site right now. There are a few others, but that should cover the majority of the questions we have received.

Thanks again for helping us make mlmlocal the best we can. We truly could not do this without you guys and girls!

To Your Success,

Bram

Supported Businesses

Welcome Beta Testers! Thanks for your help.

I just wanted to acknowledge you guys and let you know what a great job you are doing in helping us work out the minor bugs in the beta version of MLM Local.

Most of what has been reported are minor issues that should be simple to resolve.

One thing I wanted to mention is that if you have forcibly entered a company (business) name that is not alread on the MLM Local list of supported businesses, then your company link in the tag cloud will not by clickable, thus reducing your changes of getting noticed by prospects.

Somehow we forgot to prevent signup/update without having selected a supported company.

We will be deleting out the company field for those of you who have somehow slipped by and entered something that is not in the supported company list.

Please login again and choose from one of the supported companies or go to http://www.mlmlocal.com/support and request that your company be added, by including the full company name, and a URL we can look at to ensure that your company qualifies.

We currently are NOT supporting gifting programs, paid-to-surfs, investment programs such as HYIPs, etc. - even if they have a multi-tiered referral program.

At some point in the future we may release a site that better supports those types of programs, but MLM Local is strictly for network marketing companies where you are paid on the sale of products that you and your organization move.

You are, however, welcome to link to your personal blog or website by entering its URL in the “website” field that is in your profile.

One more quick note:

If you are not using Twitter, Facebook, or any other social network that is supported by MLM Local, be sure to login and edit your profile to “hide” those fields in your listing.

If you are using a specific network, make sure to enter your ID or URL for the site into your profile and choose to “show” that field in your listing. That is what enables us to link the icons that appear on the bubble that pops up when a visitor clicks your pin on the map.

So the general best practice is… either HIDE the programs you don’t use (or you don’t want to show), and make sure your ID or URL is entered for the ones you do, then choose to “SHOW”.

Then once you have things the way you want them, find your own map pin on the map and click on it to make sure your icons on linking to your profiles properly. You don’t want to miss out on any new contacts!

You can also choose to hide/show any personal information, such as your phone number or email address. You have full control over what information you want visitors to see and how they can contact you.

At a very minimum, make sure you have given visitors a way to contact you, and have included a link to your website!

Thanks again for all your help.
