Your mlmlocal.com referral links
In your back office of mlmlocal.com (the profile update page you see after logging in) you’ll find two links you can use for letting other people know how they can benefit from being an mlmlocal.com user.
We decided to reward you by giving you additional exposure for referring other people you know to the website. You have two ways of doing this.
1) Use your profile link
2) Use your referral link
Both will give you “credit” for any referrals you get.
The difference in them is that your profile link shows your actual callout (aka “info bubble”) on the mlmlocal map, and your referral link shows the signup form to your visitors.
Obviously the referral link itself is a more direct route to getting referrals, especially if people you are showing it to are already in your business organization or on your contact lists.
Ultimately, the choice is yours which link you want to use.
This video will explain how you are rewarded by referring others, and how it can lead to more exposure for you and more referrals to your business. And… how by having your organization do the same, your entire company can become more prominent on the site and benefit from the additional branding.

This makes no sense to me- what am I missing? Are there going to be people who are on this website, looking for local sponsors? Why would they go to this site?

business locally, as well as tie in your
existing Web 2.0 sites.
It’s just another method for exposure for
your business.

Hi Ryan,
I was wondering how long it takes you to approve a site for listings so it will show up on our bubble?
If we want to change our opportunity in our bubble how long will it take to be in the system?
Does this have to be an mlm or can it be a money making opportunity?

Site approval is usually within 24 hours as long as the company is a legit MLM company. Gifting programs or programs that don’t have a network marketing pay plan are not part of this system, although we may consider creating a duplicate system for programs of that type.
If a program is already in our database and you want to change it to, it shows up on your bubble immediately after you make the change in your profile admin area.

I have the same doubt that Joe expressed in his comment…. how is this going to generate leads and bring prospects to our business?? how would a person end up in the page and ultimately clicking on my bubble?

I don’t know about everyone else, but I say Great Job guys.
I love the map idea! It’s a great visual tool to look at and know that each marker is another real person working in this great field that, unfortunately, is under scrutiny on a consistent basis.
MLM Local will give extra credibility to our individual businesses and the MLM/Network Marketing industry for the people who are being introduced, if treated properly and not abused.
As Ryan says, this is another way of expanding your exposure and as membership increases, exposure and ranking will increase. This is like an online business card, the only difference is you aren’t physically handing them out one by one, you can hit the masses without sending them directly to your Opp. Site (Big Turnoff) and all your contact info is right there.
It’s an avenue that we now have as a collective group to use, to help people understand these are true legitimate businesses where people can earn a lifestyle they’ve always wanted, and maybe receive some additional ideas or resources as to starting or expanding their businesses.
I know my creative juices are going so I need to get back to work and I haven’t even slept yet!! Hope this makes sense!

Well, if you are a premium advertiser, your link will actually be rotated for anyone coming to the home page.
Also, you have to remember that we are targeting “local” prospects.
So, if someone comes to the map from Houston, TX, and you live in Houston … chances are very high that they will be contacting you.

Hey Ryan, Ambit is not listed on the list. How do we get that to show up there?
Can you explain about the rotating of link if we’re premium advertiser? Is there any rotating link on the home page? or the page they click on the company? I thought only top recruiter’s link will appear.
