We officially have some network marketers in every state in the Continental US now, including Alaska and Hawaii (and it’s NOT Sarah Palin).

International is a little slower to catch on since Google has more issues in reading and accepting International addresses, but we are working on that issue.

I just wanted to thank all our users for helping us make MLMLocal a cool place to hang out and meet other people in the industry who might live close by. Check them out and follow them on Twitter or Facebook. Do your schmoozing and make those connections!

Now, let me talk for a minute about what benefit there is for YOU to become a Top Contributor too! Right now it should be very easy to get listed as a top contributor for YOUR specific company, just by referring a few friends to your profile or referral link.

You’ll find both of these links in your MLMLocal back-office once you login.

We’re noticing that each and every day, our company-specific traffic from search engines is picking up steam. (we use tracking to see which search queries bring in visitors)

That means if “Joe BizSeeker” goes to Google or Yahoo and is looking for information on a specific company, there is a good chance they will soon find the MLMLocal page for that company. And if you’re a top contributor for that company, guess who’s name will be on there? Right! Yours!

Here is a good example search query where Mr. Kelly (a top contributor mentioned above) is already picking up some profile views from a first-page search ranking. (verified by our keyword search stats)

It’s simple for you to do the same. Just tell a few people in your organization how they can join and advertise free!

For the past few days, we have been experiencing some problems with the referral links… they have not been tracking properly.

I just wanted to let you all know that we have fixed this problem, and everything seems to be tracking now.

Also, for those of you that had previously referred someone … the system tracked it correctly, they were just displaying incorrectly.

So, if you have referred anyone to mlmlocal, you will see that your name is ranked in the “Mlmlocal Top Contributors” list starting with most the person with the most referrals.

Also, once this problem was fixed … there seemed to be a new leader on the site.

As with any other new software … there are always issues, and
although we thought we had everything ready for launch… we
did not.

However, I have just spoken with my programmer, and everything
seems to be running smoothly now.

Well, it’s been a couple days since we launched mlmlocal.com, and it’s already growing extremely fast!

So far, Brian Kelly is leading the Top Contributors with 6 referrals, but Curtis Gore is right behind him with 5.

It’s great to see so many people excited about promoting mlmlocal … We have some BIG things planned for those that do …

MLMLocal is just launching, and already we have users making connections with other network marketers in their local area!

If you’re in the US, chances are you’ll find other MLMers that are close by before long. It’s great to make local connections. Consider collaborating and/or starting an MLM mastermind group of your own with people close by.

Ryan and I were both pretty successful in Internet marketing prior to meeting each other, but after we met and started putting our heads together on different ideas is when our incomes really started to take off.

Don’t discount the power of collaboration towards a common goal. Even if people close to you are in different companies, MUCH of what you do will be the same as far as lead and traffic generation, and your follow-up marketing AFTER you have a lead.

These are the areas where you can share ideas and knowledge without competing with each other.

I encourage you to follow a few people who are geographically close to you on Twitter, or “friend them” on Facebook.

In your back office of mlmlocal.com (the profile update page you see after logging in) you’ll find two links you can use for letting other people know how they can benefit from being an mlmlocal.com user.

We decided to reward you by giving you additional exposure for referring other people you know to the website. You have two ways of doing this.

1) Use your profile link
2) Use your referral link

Both will give you “credit” for any referrals you get.

The difference in them is that your profile link shows your actual callout (aka “info bubble”) on the mlmlocal map, and your referral link shows the signup form to your visitors.

Obviously the referral link itself is a more direct route to getting referrals, especially if people you are showing it to are already in your business organization or on your contact lists.
